Boeing 707-321B, serial number 18931, entered service with Pan American World Airways as N716PA. The aircraft joined Pan Am's long haul fleet during the golden age of jet travel and operated international routes linking the United States with destinations across Europe, South America, Africa, and Asia. Configured with first class and economy seating, the Boeing 707 helped revolutionize global air travel by significantly reducing journey times between continents. Powered by Pratt & Whitney JT3D turbofan engines, the aircraft offered improved efficiency and range compared with earlier jetliners.
