Corgi's 1:144 scale Constellations and Super Connstellations are solidly constructed of diecast metal with only the smallest amount of plastic used. The model's dolphin shaped fuselage and beautifully sculpted nose feature pad-printed windows and doors that do not interrupt the lines of the aircraft. On most models, the solid metal wing has external wing-tip fuel tanks (see photos), a hint of engine detail behind the propellers and simulated de-icing boots on the leading edge. Configuration for ground display is easy with landing gear that installs quickly, and a multi-positional display stand is included for in flight display.
