The rugged two-ton, 4x4 Weapons Carrier was an Army workhorse in both World War II and, with some modifications, during the Korean War as well. This model is from the 82nd AM (Automatic Weapons Battalion) of the 2nd Infantry Division. Our veteran, Lieutenant John Montgomery, grew up with a surplus WWII model, so when he found himself serving in Korea, the WC51 was his favorite mode of transportation. This model is covered in mud and loaded with supplies.
