Kenworth W925 w/Lowboy Trailer

First manufactured in 1963, the Kenworth W925 class 8 truck was the company's first wide-hood truck, featuring a small cab and windshield. Also known as the W900A, the W925 has a long-nose style and a distinctive "cathedral grille," and can accommodate up to a 600 horsepower engine. Its front axles are rated from 12,000 to 22,000 pounds, and its rear axles can range from 23,000-lb singles to 58,000-lb tandems. These trucks have been produced for a variety of functions from logging to long-haul trucking, with 38 to 72 inch sleeper cabs.

Corgi's 1:50 scale Kenworth W925 tractor features a diecast metal chassis with simulated rivet construction, and a classic long nose shaped cab and sleeper cab also constructed in diecast metal. The top of the cab has twin horns and a lighting system with simulated hand-painted lenses. Each side of the cab features a chrome mirror with integrated antenna, an air-filter and an exhaust pipe with simulated heat shielding. The rear has separately applied splash guards and a pivoting trailer mount, and the underside provides a clear view of the bottom of the transmission, rear axles with connecting drive shafts and offset fuel tanks.
