Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, operated by Aeromexico as N815AM. Built in 2018, the aircraft was originally delivered to Norwegian Air Shuttle as LN-LNT before eventually joining Aeromexico in 2022. Its acquisition formed part of Aeromexico's expansion of its Dreamliner fleet using secondhand 787-9s formerly operated by Norwegian. Powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines, N815AM was configured for Aeromexico's long-haul passenger operation and joined the carrier's international network from Mexico City. It remains active in 2026, operating long-range services including Mexico City-Madrid and Guadalajara-Madrid, providing Aeromexico additional capacity on its important European network.
Designed as a mid-sized, wide-body airliner and constructed out of mostly composite material, the 787 was first flown on December 15th, 2009. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
