Airbus A220-100, operated by Delta Air Lines as N111NG. The aircraft is part of Delta's pioneering A220 fleet, which made Delta the first U.S. airline to operate the type. Powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1500G geared turbofan engines, N111NG is configured for premium-oriented domestic service and combines a relatively small capacity with the range needed for longer thin routes. The aircraft remains active in 2026, with recent assignments from Salt Lake City to destinations including Burbank, Kansas City, San Jose, Boise and Cleveland. Delta's A220-100s have become particularly useful for replacing older regional and small mainline jets while offering passengers a wider cabin and modern interior.
