Boeing 747-830 Intercontinental, serial number 37827, entered service with Lufthansa as D-ABYA. The aircraft became the first Boeing 747-8I delivered to Lufthansa and marked the airline's introduction of the latest generation of the iconic jumbo jet. Operating long haul routes from Frankfurt, it connects Germany with destinations across North America, Asia, and the Middle East. Configured with first class, business class, premium economy, and economy seating, the aircraft provides modern passenger comfort and advanced cabin features. Powered by General Electric GEnx-2B67 engines, D-ABYA offers improved fuel efficiency, extended range, and quieter operation.
