Airbus A350-941, registered D-AIXL, flies for Lufthansa wearing the carrier's 100 Years centennial livery, which marks a century since the German flag carrier's founding on January 6, 1926. As part of Lufthansa's A350 fleet on long-haul routes from Frankfurt and Munich, the aircraft joins a small group of anniversary-painted jets that also includes a Boeing 747-8 and an A380. The dark blue design with an oversized crane logo reflects Lufthansa's habit of using special liveries to celebrate institutional milestones, and is one of several specially painted aircraft planned for the airline's centennial year in 2026.
