Boeing 747-8I, serial number 37837, entered service with Lufthansa as D-ABYN. Named "Thuringen," the aircraft joined Lufthansa's fleet of Boeing 747-8 Intercontinentals and serves long-haul routes from Frankfurt to destinations across North America, South America, and Asia. Configured with First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy seating, the 747-8I combines the iconic Jumbo Jet design with modern efficiency and passenger comfort. Powered by four General Electric GEnx-2B67 engines, D-ABYN remains one of Lufthansa's flagship aircraft and an important part of its intercontinental network.
