Airbus A330-243, serial number 1322, entered service with Hawaiian Airlines as N360HA. The aircraft became part of Hawaiian's long haul fleet and operates routes linking Honolulu with destinations across North America, Asia, Australia, and the South Pacific. Configured with premium cabin seating and economy class, the A330-200 provides comfortable long distance service with modern inflight entertainment systems. Powered by Rolls Royce Trent 700 engines, the aircraft offers reliable performance and strong range capability. N360HA supports Hawaiian Airlines' international and transpacific operations.
Designed as a wide-bodied, long-haul passenger transport to compete with the Boeing 767, the A330 was first flown on November 2nd, 1992. It was designed as a lengthened version of the A300 and was developed in parallel with the larger, four-engined A340, enabling many of the components to be shared between the three types. The A330 also uses the same fly-by-wire technology that was introduced with the A320, featuring a glass cockpit and side-stick controllers.
