Airbus A220-300, construction number 55239, was delivered to JetBlue Airways as N3241J in 2022 as part of the airline's fleet renewal and expansion strategy. The aircraft entered service on high frequency routes along the US East Coast and to select Caribbean destinations, gradually replacing older Embraer 190 aircraft.
