Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, serial number 40654, was delivered to American Airlines as N836AA in 2024. Configured to seat 244 passengers across Business (Flagship Suite), Premium Economy, and Main Cabin, it features Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines and advanced avionics for long-haul efficiency and comfort. N836AA primarily operates transcontinental and international routes, including Chicago–London (ORD–LHR) and Chicago–Los Angeles (ORD–LAX), replacing older 767s and 777s. In August 2024, the aircraft experienced a right-engine shutdown shortly after departure but returned safely. Today, it continues to serve as a reliable, fuel-efficient workhorse within American Airlines' modern Dreamliner fleet.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
