The Boeing C-32 is a military passenger transport of the United States Air Force, providing transportation for United States leaders to locations around the world. The four C-32As are operated by the 1st Airlift Squadron of the 89th Airlift Wing at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. They are available for use by the vice-president (using call sign Air Force Two), the first lady and members of the cabinet and congress. They are also used by the President (using call sign Air Force One) if the destination is too small to support the larger VC-25.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
Designed as a narrow-bodied, twin-engined airliner to replace the 727, the 757 was first flown on February 19th, 1982. Developed in tandem with the wide-bodied 767 twinjet, both aircraft share a common digital cockpit layout and are operated by a two man flight crew. Thanks to a proven reliability track-record, the 757 is approved for extended twin engine operations (ETOPS) making it a popular choice for airlines flying transatlantic routes. A total of 1050 aircraft were built before production ceased in 2004, however many airframes have since been retrofitted with drag-reducing blended winglets to help improve fuel economy. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
