Boeing 727-138, serial number 19185, entered service with BWIA as 9Y-TCO. The aircraft joined the Caribbean airline's fleet in the late 1960s and operated regional and international routes linking Trinidad and Tobago with destinations across the Caribbean, North America, and South America. Configured with first class and economy seating, the 727-100 provided efficient jet service on medium haul routes. Powered by three Pratt and Whitney JT8D engines, the aircraft delivered reliable performance and operational flexibility. 9Y-TCO supported BWIA's regional expansion during the jet age.
