Airbus A321neo, construction number 8545, was delivered to Delta Air Lines as N502DX in 2020 as part of the airline's fleet modernization program. The aircraft operates short and medium haul domestic routes across the United States, replacing older A320ceo and MD-80 series aircraft. N502DX features Delta's modern cabin layout with Delta One, Comfort Plus, and Main Cabin seating, along with updated inflight entertainment and Wi-Fi connectivity. Powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engines, the A321neo offers improved fuel efficiency, reduced emissions, and longer range compared with previous A321 variants. N502DX plays a key role in supporting Delta's domestic network while enhancing operational efficiency and passenger comfort.
