Airbus A350-941, serial number 255, operated by Lufthansa as D-AIXL and named "Rostock." Built in 2018, the Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-84-powered aircraft was delivered new to Lufthansa on November 20, 2018 and joined the airline's Munich-based long-haul fleet. D-AIXL has served extensively on Lufthansa's intercontinental network and remains active in 2026. It is especially notable for receiving Lufthansa's special 100th anniversary livery, featuring a dark blue fuselage dominated by an oversized white crane emblem. The commemorative scheme makes D-AIXL one of several aircraft types selected to represent Lufthansa's centennial across its worldwide network.
