Boeing 717-22A, serial number 55182, line number 5138, operated by Hawaiian Airlines as N494HA. The aircraft was originally built for Midwest Airlines before eventually joining Hawaiian's specialized inter-island fleet. Hawaiian uses the 717 extensively on short, high-frequency flights linking Honolulu with Maui, Kona, Hilo and other Hawaiian destinations, a demanding operating environment involving numerous takeoffs and landings each day. N494HA remains active in 2026 as part of one of the world's last major Boeing 717 fleets. Hawaiian's continued use of the type reflects the 717's suitability for short sectors, quick turnarounds and the relatively high passenger volumes found on Hawaii's inter-island network.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
