Boeing 727-200F Advanced, registered N727US, flies for USA Jet Airlines, based at Willow Run Airport in Michigan, and was billed by its model makers as the last operating 727 in the United States. USA Jet kept two 727-200 freighters in its fleet alongside its MD-80 freighters, having been the world's first operator of an MD-80 passenger-to-freighter conversion in 2013. The three-engine 727 was once one of the most numerous airliners in the world, and N727US shows how the type survived as a cargo aircraft more than six decades after its first flight.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
Designed as a smaller, short/medium-ranged complement to the 707, the 727 was first flown on February 9th, 1963. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
