Boeing 727-200   4.5"   3.25"

Boeing 727-235, construction number 21043, was delivered to Pan Am as N368PA in 1970 as part of the airline's expansion of its domestic and short to medium haul jet fleet. The aircraft operated high frequency routes across the United States, including major hubs in New York, Miami, and Chicago, and was occasionally used on Caribbean services. N368PA featured Pan Am's iconic blue globe livery and a two class cabin typical of the era. The 727-235 provided excellent performance from shorter runways and reliable operation, becoming a key part of Pan Am's domestic network before eventual retirement as newer widebody and 737 variants entered service.

Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".

Boeing 727-200

Designed as a smaller, short/medium-ranged complement to the 707, the 727 was first flown on February 9th, 1963.
