Boeing 727-200, serial number 21852, registered as A6-EMC, was one of Emirates' first jet aircraft, entering the fleet in the mid-1980s. It was part of a small group of three 727-200 Advanceds, alongside A6-EMA and A6-EMB, that helped launch the airline's early operations. A6-EMC was primarily used on short- and medium-haul regional routes from Dubai, connecting the Gulf region with key cities in the Middle East and South Asia. The aircraft flew in Emirates' original livery and provided reliable service during the airline's formative years. It was retired around 1994 as Emirates modernized its fleet with newer jets.
