Boeing 727-100, serial number 18293, was delivered to United Airlines as N7001U, the first production 727. It first flew on February 9, 1963, and entered United's fleet, serving for 27 years on domestic and short-haul routes. Over its career, it accumulated 64,495 flight hours and 48,060 landings, demonstrating the reliability of the 727 design. Retired in 1991, N7001U was donated to the Museum of Flight in Seattle. After restoration, it made a final ferry flight on March 2, 2016, to Boeing Field, where it now remains on static display, preserving a key piece of commercial aviation history.

Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
