Airbus A380-841, construction number 262, registered JA381A and nicknamed "Lani," was delivered to All Nippon Airways on March 20, 2019, as the first of ANA's three "Flying Honu" (flying sea turtle) A380s dedicated to the Tokyo-Honolulu route. JA381A wears a blue turtle motif and a distinctive "ANA Inspiration of Japan" design across its belly, part of a purpose-built fleet featuring surfboard-racked interiors and Hawaiian-themed cabins. ANA operates the smallest A380 fleet of any airline, exclusively serving Hawaii-bound leisure traffic from Japan.
Designed as the world's largest airliner, the double-decker A380 was first flown on April 27th, 2005. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
