Airbus A380-841, construction number 266, registered JA383A and nicknamed "La," was delivered to All Nippon Airways in October 2020 as the third and final "Flying Honu" A380, wearing an orange turtle motif to complete the trio alongside JA381A (blue) and JA382A (green). Delivered at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, JA383A was stored between February 2022 and October 2023 before finally entering revenue service on the Tokyo-Honolulu route, completing ANA's three-aircraft A380 fleet after the post-pandemic recovery in Hawaii-bound leisure demand justified bringing all three superjumbos into simultaneous service.
Designed as the world's largest airliner, the double-decker A380 was first flown on April 27th, 2005. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
