Airbus A321neo, registered HL8509, flies for Korean Air wearing the carrier's new livery introduced as part of a broader fleet rebranding effort. As part of Korean Air's growing A321neo fleet supporting domestic South Korean routes and short-haul regional international connections across Northeast Asia, HL8509 reflects the carrier's ongoing fleet modernization and visual identity refresh, complementing Korean Air's substantial widebody long-haul operations as one of Asia's leading airlines following the carrier's 2024 majority acquisition of rival Asiana Airlines.
