Boeing 747-8F, serial number 37267, entered service with Boeing as N747EX. The aircraft served as one of the Boeing test aircraft used during the development and certification program of the Boeing 747-8 freighter. It participated in extensive flight testing to validate performance, systems, and operational capabilities of the new aircraft variant. Powered by General Electric GEnx engines, the 747-8F introduced improved fuel efficiency, extended range, and increased payload capacity compared with earlier freighter models. N747EX played a key role in demonstrating the capabilities of the new generation Boeing freighter.
