Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental, construction number 60446, was delivered to Korean Air as HL7633 in 2017 as part of the airline's renewal of its flagship widebody fleet. The aircraft operated long haul routes from Seoul Incheon to major destinations in North America and Europe, including Los Angeles and Frankfurt. HL7633 featured Korean Air's premium cabin layout with first class suites, Prestige business class, and economy seating, along with updated inflight entertainment. Powered by GEn GEnx-2B67 engines, the 747-8I provided improved fuel efficiency, lower noise, and extended range compared with earlier 747 variants. HL7633 played a key role on high demand intercontinental services until Korean Air began reducing its passenger 747 operations.
Designed as a large capacity airliner and freight hauler, the 747 was first flown on February 9th, 1969. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
