Boeing 737-800(BCF), registered N7933A, flies for Amazon Prime Air as part of the e-commerce giant's contracted cargo fleet supporting next-day and same-day package delivery across the United States. Amazon Air, launched in 2015 under the internal codename "Project Aerosmith," does not own or operate its aircraft directly but instead contracts carriers including Atlas Air, ASL Airlines, and Sun Country Airlines to fly its branded 737-800 and 767-300 freighters, with N7933A supporting this network of converted narrowbody freighters connecting Amazon's fulfillment centers to regional sorting hubs. Designed as a smaller, short-ranged alternative to the Boeing 707 and 727, the 737 was first flown on April 9th, 1967. Over its long operational carreer, the 737 has spawned numerous variants ranging in capacity from less than 100 to more than 200 seats. In fact, the 737 series is the best-selling jetliner in aviation history with more than 6,500 aircraft manufactured to date and more than 4,500 still in service with over 500 airlines around the world.
