Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, registered VN-A829, flies for Bamboo Airways as part of the Vietnamese hybrid carrier's long-haul widebody fleet supporting international routes connecting Vietnam to destinations including Europe. Bamboo Airways introduced the 787-9 to expand beyond its original regional narrowbody network into intercontinental long-haul markets, wearing the airline's distinctive green and blue livery, representing the carrier's ambitious growth strategy since its 2019 launch to compete with established Vietnamese and international carriers on long-haul routes.
