Bombardier CS100, registered C-GWYD, was a test and demonstration aircraft for the CSeries program, Bombardier's clean-sheet narrowbody jet family that later became the Airbus A220 following Airbus's 2018 acquisition of a majority stake in the program. The CS100, the smaller of the two original CSeries variants, underwent extensive flight testing before entering commercial service with launch customer Swiss International Air Lines in 2016, with aircraft like C-GWYD supporting the type's certification campaign before Bombardier's eventual full exit from commercial aviation manufacturing in 2020.
