Boeing 747-8F, registered N748FT, flies for Flying Tiger Line (marketed here under its historic name, though modern 747-8F operations of this type are generally associated with Atlas Air, which acquired the Flying Tiger brand and route rights through its corporate lineage). Flying Tiger Line, founded in 1945 by former World War II volunteer pilots, became one of the world's largest cargo airlines before its 1989 acquisition by Federal Express, with the storied name occasionally invoked in later cargo aviation branding and heritage liveries.
Designed as a large capacity airliner and freight hauler, the 747 was first flown on February 9th, 1969. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
