Boeing 747-4H6(LCF), serial number 27043, operated as N718BA. Originally delivered to Malaysia Airlines in 1993 as 9M-MPA, the aircraft was later acquired by Boeing and extensively converted into the oversized 747 Dreamlifter. Its fuselage was enlarged to transport major Boeing 787 assemblies between suppliers and final assembly facilities. N718BA became one of only four Dreamlifters and continues operating Boeing logistics missions under contract by Atlas Air. Although sometimes associated with AirBridgeCargo models, N718BA is not a 747-8F and never served with AirBridgeCargo; it is a highly modified 747-400.
