Airbus A300B4-605R, serial number 701, operated by Lufthansa as D-AIAZ. The aircraft was originally delivered to Emirates in 1993 as A6-EKM before joining Lufthansa in 2003. Lufthansa used D-AIAZ primarily on high-capacity domestic and European services from Frankfurt, where the widebody A300 was particularly effective on heavily traveled short-haul routes. It remained with Lufthansa until 2009 as the airline retired its A300 fleet. The aircraft subsequently joined Mahan Air in 2010 as EP-MNN and later transferred to Iran Airtour, eventually becoming EP-MDN. Its career spans more than three decades with airlines in Europe and the Middle East.
Designed as a wide-bodied medium range transport, the A300 was first flown on July 8th, 1983. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
