McDonnell Douglas MD-11, serial number 48426, line number 468, operated by Alitalia as I-DUPA and named "Gioacchino Rossini." Delivered on March 27, 1992, it initially served as an MD-11C combi carrying both passengers and cargo. After being stored in 2003-04, I-DUPA was converted to a full MD-11F freighter in late 2004 and returned to service with Alitalia Cargo in May 2005. It was later re-registered EI-UPA and remained with Alitalia until January 2009. The aircraft subsequently became N986AR and flew with Sky Lease and Centurion before being withdrawn and eventually broken up at Orlando Sanford in 2021.
