Boeing 737-83N, serial number 30660, line number 1330, operated by American Trans Air as N331TZ. First flown on May 17, 2003, the aircraft was delivered to ATA in June 2003 under lease from International Lease Finance Corporation. Configured for high-density passenger service, it operated ATA's domestic and leisure network until being withdrawn in February 2006. It then joined SpiceJet as VT-SPH, followed by T'way Air as HL8268 in 2012. After leaving T'way in 2023, it briefly became LY-FBI before joining Nauru Airlines as VH-AN2 in January 2024. The well-traveled 737 remains active with Nauru Airlines. Designed as a smaller, short-ranged alternative to the Boeing 707 and 727, the 737 was first flown on April 9th, 1967. Over its long operational carreer, the 737 has spawned numerous variants ranging in capacity from less than 100 to more than 200 seats. In fact, the 737 series is the best-selling jetliner in aviation history with more than 6,500 aircraft manufactured to date and more than 4,500 still in service with over 500 airlines around the world. Incredibly, there is a 737 taking off or landing somewhere in the world, on average, every five seconds. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
