Airbus A350F ordered by Air China Cargo forms part of the Chinese carrier's long-term fleet modernization program. Air China Cargo placed a firm order for six A350Fs in November 2025, becoming the first customer in mainland China for the new Airbus freighter. Deliveries are planned to begin in 2029 and continue through 2031. The aircraft will supplement and eventually help modernize a cargo fleet that has traditionally relied heavily on Boeing 747 and 777 freighters. With approximately 111 tonnes of payload capability and improved fuel efficiency, the A350F will give Air China Cargo a new-generation aircraft for high-volume long-haul freight routes linking China with Europe, North America and other major cargo markets.
