Airbus A318-112, serial number 3314, entered service with Mexicana as XA-UBS. The aircraft became part of Mexicana's Airbus fleet and operated short and medium haul routes throughout Mexico and nearby international destinations. Configured with business and economy seating, the A318 allowed the airline to efficiently serve thinner routes with smaller capacity aircraft. Powered by CFM56 engines, the aircraft delivered reliable performance and efficient operation. XA-UBS remained in service with Mexicana until the airline suspended operations in 2010.
