Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, serial number 39986, entered service with Gulf Air as A9C-FG. Delivered in October 2019, the aircraft joined Gulf Air's modern long haul fleet and operates services from Bahrain to destinations across Europe, Asia, and North America. Configured with 26 business class and 256 economy seats, the aircraft is powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines. A9C-FG is especially notable for its attractive 1976 retro color scheme, celebrating Gulf Air's heritage while combining the classic appearance with the Dreamliner's modern efficiency, long range, and advanced passenger cabin.
