Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner, entered service with Korean Air as HL8816. The aircraft joined Korean Air's expanding fleet of stretched Dreamliners for high capacity international services from Seoul Incheon. The 787-10 combines the Dreamliner family's advanced composite construction and improved cabin environment with greater passenger capacity than the 787-9, making it particularly well suited to high demand regional and medium haul international routes. Powered by two General Electric GEnx turbofan engines, HL8816 offers excellent fuel efficiency, reduced emissions, and lower noise while supporting Korean Air's ongoing replacement of older widebody aircraft.
Designed as a mid-sized, wide-body airliner and constructed out of mostly composite material, the 787 was first flown on December 15th, 2009. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
