Airbus A350-1041, operated by Ethiopian Airlines as ET-BAX. The aircraft is part of Ethiopian's expanding A350-1000 fleet and is configured for high-capacity long-haul service. Powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 turbofans, it combines the extended fuselage and greater payload capability of the A350-1000 with the fuel efficiency of Airbus' composite A350 family. ET-BAX operates from Ethiopian's Addis Ababa hub on important African and intercontinental routes. During August 2026, its assignments included Addis Ababa-Rome-Washington services as well as flights to Paris, Lagos, Abuja and Nairobi, demonstrating the aircraft's role on both high-demand African routes and Ethiopian's longest international sectors.
