Boeing 737-84P, registered B-1992, flies for Suparna Airlines, a Chinese carrier previously known as Yangtze River Express and part of the HNA Group conglomerate, as part of the airline's fleet of 737-800s supporting domestic Chinese routes and regional cargo operations. Suparna Airlines has operated both passenger and cargo variants of the 737-800 as part of its mixed fleet strategy within the HNA Group's broader aviation network. As part of this fleet, B-1992 supports Suparna's role connecting Chinese cities and providing regional logistics capacity within China's expanding domestic aviation and e-commerce delivery markets. Designed as a smaller, short-ranged alternative to the Boeing 707 and 727, the 737 was first flown on April 9th, 1967. Over its long operational carreer, the 737 has spawned numerous variants ranging in capacity from less than 100 to more than 200 seats. In fact, the 737 series is the best-selling jetliner in aviation history with more than 6,500 aircraft manufactured to date and more than 4,500 still in service with over 500 airlines around the world. Incredibly, there is a 737 taking off or landing somewhere in the world, on average, every five seconds. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
