Airbus CC-330 Husky, the Royal Canadian Air Force's designation for the Airbus A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport, is based on the civilian A330-200 airframe and serves Canada's Strategic Tanker Transport Capability program, replacing the aging CC-150 Polaris fleet. Named for its long association with the RCAF's 437 Transport Squadron, the CC-330 fleet comprises nine aircraft, a mix of new-build MRTTs from Airbus's Getafe, Spain facility and used A330-200s converted from commercial service, including several former Kuwait Airways aircraft. The fleet supports aerial refueling, military airlift, medical evacuation, and strategic VIP transport for Canadian government officials.
Designed as a aerial refuelling tanker version of the A330 airliner, the A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) was first flown on June 15th, 2007. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
