Boeing 777-F1B, registered B-2075, flies for China Southern Cargo as part of the Chinese carrier's fleet of 777 freighters supporting international cargo operations connecting China to major logistics markets worldwide. As part of China Southern's broader cargo division, the aircraft supports the airline's growing air freight business, complementing China Southern's substantial passenger widebody fleet. China Southern Cargo has expanded its dedicated freighter operations in recent years to meet growing demand for Chinese export logistics and e-commerce shipping, positioning the carrier as an important player in global air cargo alongside its core passenger business.
Designed as a wide-bodied, twin-engined airliner to compete with the Airbus A330/A340 and the McDonnell Douglas MD-11, the 777 was first flown on June 12th, 1994. A pair of the world's largest diameter turbofan engines power the aircraft which currently holds the record for world's largest twin-engined airliner. The 777 was Boeing's first fly-by-wire airliner, featuring complete glass cockpit displays and flight envelope protection.
