Airbus A350-1041, serial number 719, is destined to enter service with Air India as VT-JRO. The aircraft is part of Air India's order for the larger A350-1000 and represents another major step in the carrier's extensive long haul fleet modernization program. Powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines, the A350-1000 combines exceptional intercontinental range with greater passenger and cargo capacity than the A350-900. As of May 2026, VT-JRO was still listed as on order rather than in active airline service, so descriptions showing it already operating for Air India are premature.
