Boeing 737-760, registered ET-ALN, flies for Ethiopian Airlines as part of the East African flag carrier's fleet of 737-700s supporting domestic Ethiopian routes and regional connections across Africa. Ethiopian Airlines, based at Addis Ababa's Bole International Airport, uses its narrowbody 737 fleet to complement widebody long-haul aircraft on the carrier's African network, connecting Ethiopia to destinations throughout East, West, and Southern Africa. As part of one of Africa's leading airlines and a Star Alliance member, ET-ALN supports Ethiopian's role as a key regional connector across the African continent. Designed as a smaller, short-ranged alternative to the Boeing 707 and 727, the 737 was first flown on April 9th, 1967.
