Tupolev Tu-134A, registered OK-HFL, flew for CSA Czechoslovak/Czech Airlines as part of the carrier's substantial fleet of Soviet-designed twinjets supporting domestic Czechoslovak routes and connections across the Eastern Bloc during the Cold War era. CSA was one of the primary export customers for the Tu-134 alongside East Germany's Interflug, reflecting Czechoslovakia's close aviation ties with the Soviet Union. As part of CSA's historic fleet, OK-HFL supported the airline's regional and domestic network before the type was gradually phased out in favor of Western-built aircraft following the fall of Communism in Czechoslovakia.
Designed as twin-engined, narrow-body airliner, the T-134 was first flown on September 9th, 1970. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
