Boeing 737-8FZ, registered HS-DBY, flies for Nok Air, the Thai low-cost carrier, as part of the airline's fleet of 737-800s supporting domestic Thai routes and short-haul regional international connections. Nok Air, partly owned by Thai Airways International, has built its budget carrier identity around the 737-800 to serve Thailand's dense domestic network connecting Bangkok to regional cities and tourist destinations. As part of this fleet, HS-DBY supports Nok Air's role as one of Thailand's leading low-cost carriers, providing affordable air travel across the country's domestic aviation market. Designed as a smaller, short-ranged alternative to the Boeing 707 and 727, the 737 was first flown on April 9th, 1967.
