Boeing 737-752, entered service with Aeromexico as N904AM. The aircraft joined Aeromexico's Boeing 737 fleet for domestic and international services from Mexico City and other hubs. Powered by two CFM International CFM56-7B engines, the 737-700 provided an efficient combination of range, capacity, and dependable performance for routes throughout Mexico, the United States, Central America, and the Caribbean. N904AM represented an important generation in Aeromexico's narrowbody modernization, with the 737 Next Generation family progressively replacing older aircraft while providing improved operating economics and passenger comfort. Designed as a smaller, short-ranged alternative to the Boeing 707 and 727, the 737 was first flown on April 9th, 1967. Over its long operational carreer, the 737 has spawned numerous variants ranging in capacity from less than 100 to more than 200 seats. In fact, the 737 series is the best-selling jetliner in aviation history with more than 6,500 aircraft manufactured to date and more than 4,500 still in service with over 500 airlines around the world.
