COMAC C919-100STD, serial number 00017, entered service with COMAC Express as B-658M. The aircraft joined COMAC's dedicated charter operation in 2025 and represents a distinctive use of China's domestically developed C919 outside the fleets of the country's major scheduled airlines. Powered by two CFM International LEAP-1C engines, B-658M provides modern short and medium haul passenger capability while also serving as a highly visible showcase for the C919 program. The aircraft has appeared internationally in COMAC Express markings, promoting China's growing commercial aircraft industry and the expanding operational capabilities of the C919.
