Boeing 777-281(ER), registered JA745A, flies for All Nippon Airways (ANA) as part of the Japanese carrier's fleet of 777-200ERs supporting medium and long-haul international routes from Tokyo. ANA operates a substantial 777 fleet spanning multiple variants and generations, with the 777-200ER serving as a core widebody type on routes connecting Japan to destinations across Asia, Europe, and North America. As part of this fleet, JA745A supports ANA's position as one of Asia's leading carriers and a Star Alliance founding member, providing essential long-haul connectivity from Japan's major airports.
Designed as a wide-bodied, twin-engined airliner to compete with the Airbus A330/A340 and the McDonnell Douglas MD-11, the 777 was first flown on June 12th, 1994.
