McDonnell Douglas MD-11F, registered N275WA, flew for MASkargo, the cargo division of Malaysia Airlines, having been leased from World Airways during the 1990s as part of MASkargo's efforts to build dedicated freighter capacity. World Airways leased several MD-11 passenger and freighter variants to Malaysia Airlines and MASkargo between 1994 and 2000, with liveries ranging from full MASkargo branding to simpler titles-only schemes. As part of this leased freighter fleet, N275WA supported MASkargo's international cargo operations during a formative period for the airline's dedicated freight business, connecting Malaysia to global logistics markets.
